I went for exploring and sub-questing to the fullest, so after 65 hours I'm just finishing off the end game, with a few remaining sub-quests that I'll do later.ĭriving the Nomad (the only user-controlled vehicle in the game) is fun, which is good as you'll do a lot of that.Ĭombat is also fun, once you get some solid armor and weapons, and there are moments of intense combat. A lot of work must have been put into the design of things. Scope-wise it's pretty massive (no pun intended), and it's visually stunning. I'm playing it right now, and it's way better than early reviews indicated. The game felt much more alien than the first trilogy which was nice. The vaults in the game are so much fun, and the main story i did find fairly interesting. Replay with different characters in the party and different quests to me is better than just trying to do everything in one play. Personally i would not try to do everything, i find the game goes better if you skip stuff, and more or less do some side quests as you meander through the game. Game play is a lot of fun though, jumping and the jump/dodge, building your own unique character with picking powers and profiles along with a very fun ground vehicle and a ship that feels alive. In many ways it reminds me more of a star trek style game, verse a mass effect. She is a very positive, and hopeful person, it's a nice change from the typical rouge and tumble good guy. I find the female pathfinder much more interesting.
I guess if you skip all that stuff it would go lots faster, but it's an RPG, i'd think you would wanna hear the story? It's not ME 1-3, No renagade shep for example. At times i spend 30-40 mins just talking on the ship between missions.
Sometimes just going into a city and talking to people and doing a single quest can be a couple hours. There is a crap ton of talking in the game. My quick plays skipping tons of stuff takes me about 60, My long plays are around 150. I dunno how people get through the game this quick.
